Macquarie Mobile Banking

Macquarie blocks payments, for 24 hours, to new payees. They do this under the guise of “security” or to “keep you safe”. However, there is no functionality for an account holder to disable that mechanism. Consequently, it’s a control mechanism as implemented. Find a different bank that puts you, as the account holder, in command of your own assets.

I have been using the app for couple of years now. I updated it through the App Store. It made me to set up everything from the scratch. This is what happens when you have incompetent people in charge if a bank’s tech. Awaiting to be hacked perhaps.

Such an awesome app! Easy to use, great insights and gives me all my banking needs in one spot... Even my superannuation balance! Just need to get a car loan from Macquarie and then I'm all set!
