Leeann Chin

Hadn't been into Leeann Chin for years but decided to pop in recently and try their Firecracker tofu (I know... I was skeptical too). It's sooo good! Literally hooked have had it probably 10 times in the last few months. My go to is the one off Round Lk Blvd and the food has always been fresh and workers are super friendly and welcoming. I also love that if they are low or out of something they make it up for you on the spot. Headed there for a mobile pick up as soon as I finish this review. Last thing, I appreciate how easy it is to use the app and to get rewards... but then again, maybe all the rewards are because I go too much...

Been using the app since 2017, loved it, recommended it to others, etc. Now it’s demanding an update, says only for IOS 16.0 and later, my iPhone 6s is up to date with a 15.7.8 version. In reading other reviews, it seems as if the developers purposely made the app incompatible with older iPhones? I’m not going to unnecessarily purchase a new iPhone just to use the stupid Leeann Chin app, so I guess it’s goodbye from me. And I will definitely not be visiting the locations as much anymore. The app was my incentive to eat there so often.

Love the design of the new app, but I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time getting logged in. I was unable to log in to the updated app, not because I didn’t know the password, but because my password no longer met the app’s security requirements. My spouse then tried and hit the same roadblock. Running out of time I decided to log in with Apple quick. Bad move, because it attached my phone number to the new temp account. This made it so I couldn’t log in to my regular account later. Then I had to delete the app, because the only place to delete the temp account is on the website, and guess what happens if you try to load it on your phone? It automatically moves back to the app, which doesn’t let you delete your account. App deleted I logged in to the website and deleted the temp account, reinstalled the app and logged in to my old account. Great! Yet, no. Because all my orders and fortunes are GONE with the update. Thanks for taking 45 minutes out of my day all because the developers couldn’t figure out a way to have users update their password to the new standard when first logging in instead of this lazy result. We got food elsewhere.
