We at CWS Propane DBA Absolute Propane have been using Otodata’s tank monitors for approximately 6 months. The product has done nothing but prove itself right when it comes to the reasons we decided to try the product. Everything and everyone involved with Otodata, which includes sales reps, support teams, online support, software/apps, hardware and the product itself work exactly as designed. No frills hardware installation as is the software/apps that transpose the data into legible graphs. Most importantly they are increasing the companies bottom line. Mitchbrob

Only had this app about one month, was starting to get used to it, then a couple days ago it stopped working. I had an update on my phone this morning, which I completed, and that did not change anything about the functionality of this app. The app was telling me to put in my password. Nothing happened. I tried the forgot password, was asked to give my email, which I did. Said I would be sent a temporary password to my email. No email ever received, not even in my junk email. I then emailed OTODATA explaining what was happening and asked for help. No response! Then after a while I opened the app and I was able to see the % of propane and was able to switch to the graph. Then I was getting messages again on that app to check my internet connection. Nothing is wrong with my internet connection.. I am getting frustrated!!!!

I absolutely love this app. It’s a life saver, but all the sudden one day I opened it, and all my tanks are reading 10%, and have been for about 2 weeks now. If I click and open up each individual tank then it will show me their actual percentage. BUT, I’m highly aggravated that it’s not showing me their actual % on the Home Screen anymore. Therefore I had to give it a 3 star, even though I’d give it 5 it it wasn’t for this issue I’m having. How can I fix this??!!?? Also, in regards to the “customers” complaining about things the app won’t let you do, these tank monitors and this app is more-so designed for your propane supplier to keep track of your percentage to help prevent you from running out of gas. Yes, of course it’s helpful for the customer too keep track too if your tank is at another location than where you live/work. But for the most part, it’s designed for us suppliers, and personally I think it’s as handy as a pocket on a shirt for my heavy users, and businesses that I supply.
