PiyoShogi

At the bottom of the settings tab it says you can change the language by choosing the language that you want and then restarting the app to change it. I restarted it and nothing happened!

I’ve tried many mobile apps for offline shogi, and I can confidently say that PiyoShogi is the best. PiyoShogi allows you to play against a wide variety of CPU opponents, with a range of different opening strategies and time controls. You can also play “rated” games to track your current level of play. This app shines most when it comes to kifu analysis. You can easily paste kifu from the clipboard on the main screen. You can also pull Shogi Wars kifu using the “Wars Record” button. The new daily mate problem feature is also excellent. Other apps will force you to find the shortest mate, but PiyoShogi allows you to find any mate against its strongest CPU. You can later go back and find faster mates. Overall, I’m very satisfied with PiyoShogi and I’m glad to see that it’s still under active development. Highly recommended.
