I was paying 3x the Freeplay rate per month to visit my favorite gym, now I can still go to my preferred gym, with the same unlimited classes for sooooo much less! While I was already on a regular fitness routine, it did cause my friends to get motivated and join as well with the Freeplay group membership options. Regarding the app itself, I don’t really find the “playlist” feature all that useful, it is unclear to me the intended usability as it doesn’t actually book or sign you up for these classes. I know you can use it as a way to invite friends to the classes you’re going to, but I haven’t seen the value add there. Overall it is an awesome membership, money saving and fun options, well designed app, and I am thrilled to be on the team Freeplay! — Side note to Freeplay employees who happen to read this review, if Freeplay adds more partner gyms north of SLC, around Ogden, I know I could get a good amount of other family/friends to sign up! ;)

I’m so glad I found this app! It’s the perfect mix of motivation, variety, and community to live a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Motivating because you’ve already paid for it so you want to make your money’s worth in workouts and activities. Variety — so many types of ways to exercise and enjoy it! I wouldn’t have tried half the things I’ve tried if I didn’t have Freeplay because individual gym memberships are so expensive. Also, because there are so many venues, you can go at pretty much any time of the day and find something you want to do. Lastly, community — such easy, built-in date or group outings with friends who have Freeplay or friends who don’t — 3 buddy passes a month is amazing! As a plus, the Freeplay team is very responsive to feedback and that is so helpful.

Freeplay is an AMAZING company!! The customer service is exceptional, and they truly do take care of their members. Working out becomes so much more exciting and allows me to change things up and stay engaged in different activities I love! I will never join another gym membership, Freeplay is by far the best fit for my lifestyle. The app is set up very conveniently to find new activities and is easy to check in at each location. Before I signed up I was a little skeptical, it seemed too good to be true, but I've been nothing but impressed since joining. I have truly had an amazing experience!
