UPDATE (Jan 2025): Still absolutely love Tello! They fixed the 5G issue a while back. You can even do tablet plans (just select data only for iPads). I’ve been a loyal customer for years and I tell everyone about you guys! I love how cheap it is and how you can rollover data, as long as you pay the day before your auto deduction. So worth it! I hope that Tello will one day offer support for Apple Watches. As of now, they don’t, but that isn’t a problem for me since I don’t use mine a lot. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2022): I’m so happy with Tello. I just switched and the migration process couldn’t have been any easier. The app is easy to use and works fine for me so far. For under $15/month per line, you can’t beat this service! I was paying over $150 with T-Mobile, FOR JUST MYSELF, which is completely ridiculous. The only thing I’m a *little* hesitant about is the lack of 5G on the new iPhones. I hope Tello is able to work on that soon. It’s not a huge deal because I don’t notice too much of a difference between LTE and 5G, anyway, at least in my area. Though I did pay off my iPhone 12 Pro to switch to Tello, so I’d like to see full features. Thank you Tello for an epic service!

Pros- Tello seems to run off towers other providers also use. For instance, I’ll occasionally have my iphone tell me my provider is t-mobile instead of Tello. So, you should get good service provided you don’t live surrounded by farms or mountains. This “switch” doesn’t seem to affect billing at all. Orders on the app work instantaneously. If I run out of data my plan will update as soon as I place my order and service resumes. Cons- why does your app not run full speed, at all times? If I’m out of high-speed data how should I be expected to order more if my phone won’t load your app until the 14th attempt? This is not an issue with the app not loading due to an outage, this is an issue with the app not loading due to “running out of high-speed data” when I have an unlimited plan, and not being able to load the app. The app tracker for data is also delayed. If you accidentally exceed your limit it’s possible the app will say you haven’t used any data at all, for what can seem like nearly 12 hours after you’ve exceeded the data cap. The unlimited high-speed data plan isn’t unlimited (it’s around 25gbs). Your terms clearly say so. Show me how much high-speed data I have remaining on my plan, don’t show me an infinity sign. TLDR; Tello offers quality service, but the app has some hiccups. This should be read as a review of the app, not the other services Tello provides.

I had an extra iphone I paid off with sprint .since tello uses sprint/T-Mobile towers and cdma sims etc ....my phone was able to connect in less than a minute without having to get a new sim w tello .iam sure any qualified phone will also do the same .1gb ..unlimited talk and text not bad for 10$ ..just what my 10 yr old needs . Once I finish paying off my current sprint device I will cancel and connect it with tello $39 unlimited data +talk+text vs $113 w sprint .you cant go wrong with saving right now .im happy I found out about tello and been recommending it to fam /friends :)
