Incredibly well optimized, I've had the game open for nearly an hour and lost only 2% battery. Great depth in each skill, great variety of tasks, always have things to do. Each grind feels like it has weight & the correct balance of rarity & abundance. With how much info can be presented on one page, i'm impressed on how concise & digestible it is. Could recommend this to anyone from a beginner to a completionist. A few social features down the road like user profiles/'players in this area:' & I'd consider this one of the best mobile idle 'MMO's by far!
Overall pretty enjoyable. It needs to be rebalanced across the board. Zen is extremely difficult to get to auto play which is very frustrating. You get through the initial monsters very very quickly and then it’s a slow burn from there, probably to get you to buy gems or something. Various things need to be rebalanced.. like buying the tickets for imbibing vs just guessing at 99%. Should also be able to do combat offline to some capacity that’s not a dummy. Trading doesn’t really make much sense not sure what that’s for. Needs a lot more variation in equipment as well, you basically get to the second from the best tier in a day or two and never really upgrade again from there. $99 packages are absolutely insane as well.. hopefully they continue to expand and improve on the game as it has potential but I’m not sure if there’s really the ability to play for more than a week or two at the moment.
At first it looks like a fun variation of Melvor, but then it starts to look more like a predatory toxic sibling 1. To make meaningful progress, you have to keep the app open 2. The progression curve is very fast in the beginning and gets extremely slow in the mid game. So at some point you end up just need to keep your phone on for hours at a time just to make a dent in your progress. Offline progression is very meaningless at that point 3. Monetization. - There are short auras you can get by watching adds, and the premium purchase does not remove them. It’s like paying for higher tier of Netflix and still having ads. - the game heavily incentivizes using gems (the premium currency). Do you want to keep the app open and click the same button for an hour, or do you just want to use two gems? While you get a lot of gems in the beginning, as your progress slows down, you barely get any. 4. Some mechanics just don’t make sense to me. Like auto-resurrection - once you unlock it, it’s so prohibitively expensive, that one use would cost hours of progress - and that’s exactly what happened to me once I accidentally used it. Sure, there are upgrades that eventually would make it more affordable, but why even have it in the beginning that it punishes you for using it? I seriously considered getting premium in the beginning just to support the dev, but having played a bit more it almost feels disrespectful to self to pay for something that doesn’t respect you
