I wasn’t paying for this game until I was over 670st level or so. I was getting a chance to pay with game coins or watch an ad, if I would run out of time. I didn’t mind to watch the annoying add, but then I thought to myself, it would be nice to pay for the game and have to watch less ads. I made the mistake of paying for the game, now I don’t have the option to watch the ad to get more time AND I have to pay with game coins for buying more time. 2000 coins a pop. Since I can earn coins at a very slow pace, I am forced to loose all my previous wins by opting out, or pay the 2000 coins, which again I have to pay real money to buy!!!! The developers or I don’t know who these people are, they make you pay over and over again, once you sign up for the game and become a paid customer. The betrayal doesn’t stop there. If you think you won’t have to watch Ads anymore, you are mistaken. You still get long ads to watch! I don’t even know, for how long did I pay this company the $6.99? I’ll delete this app as soon as I know how long I paid for the game. If you are thinking about paying for this game and don’t mind watching ads, Don’t pay for it!
Revised review: despite not answering, the developers did fix the issue with giving time instead of axes; the game now shows the one you’ll get (it alternates from week to week). I haven’t had the issue with none of the ropes sticking in a while; occasionally there’s a level where it’s hard to find a play, though. But that’s what the axes and extra time are for. Also, I’m not sure how this works with playing against others. It is weird. I was just playing at the end of the week, when they reset the game; and despite that I didn’t show as at the top of my level, when they restarted the game, I’d leveled up and was in first place in my new level. So if you really care about that kind of thing, this isn’t for you. I don’t care that much so it’s weird but not a big deal! Old review (parts): I’ve played this game a lot. Most of the time, it’s fun. However there’s no support through the game, and when I contacted support through the App Store, I got no reply. I was at the top of the highest level, and should have won six axes, but instead they gave me six timers. Also, sometimes none of the moves stick. Most levels, you can’t stretch the arms forever, they have to be in fairly close proximity; however every so often there’s a level where none of them will stick in place, even in the space right next to where they were. As far as the opponents, I’ve noticed the same thing others have said — they seem to mostly play at the same time as I do. So they may be bots. I don’t care really, I can still beat them; but it is kind of weird.
I had fun at first and when you ran into a tangle that needed more time they gave you 30 seconds for watching a commercial. Then when I accumulated more levels and 6 thousand coins, they made you pay for 30 seconds for 2, 000 coins which makes that money run out and then guess what you have to buy more coins and time. Which is not cool. I don’t think I should have to pay for any game and then if you don’t pay for more time you only can get 10 seconds for a 60 second commercial and that takes at least two more times if you are really tangled up. I play for an hour and would end up in first place. So some levels are hard but I think that just because you can figure out the level you shouldn’t be penalized for it by having to pay for more time when you use to watch a commercial and get 30 seconds. Play if you want but guaranteed you will end up spending money because it is very frustrating to watch a commercial that last a minute for 10 lousy seconds.
