Yep, the timer is a deal-breaker

This game is super elementary. No frills, no visuals beyond the most basic 2D fundamentals you'd have seen 10+ years ago, but that's not a problem. It's an algebra thing. How to unwrap items from other items. You don't need much, if it weren't for a few glaring problems, it could be fun. XXX Other reviews said that it used to give you so many moves to accomplish the puzzle, but it *doesn't* do that now; now it's timed which is hideously difficult. Each puzzle HAS a solution, it's just a matter of figuring it out, but as any big puzzle fan will tell you, unless you are competing against other people (in tournament play, for instance) under a certain number of moves like some of the people who enjoy playing with puzzles LIKE being able to figure out all the steps to the mystery. XXX That's the charm of PLAYING with puzzles. No one wants to feel like they are in a competition every *day,* we play with puzzles to get lost in a mystery, NOT to feel like we're under the gun; there's already too much of that at WORK. Who wants to have deadlines at home? If it weren't for the stress of trying to figure out these problems, the game could be fun. But it's also because of that timer that the price is DEFINITELY not worth it. I GET PAID AT WORK TO FIGURE STUFF OUT, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO PAY SOMEONE *ELSE* TO FEEL LIKE I'M AT WORK! (And it's WAY too expensive for the cheesy 2D graphics. I'm not paying for this every day, or more than $5 to buy the rights to it)

Daily Ad Buy-Out - Are You Kidding?

This could be a really good game but it is totally missing the mark and I’m not sure I will keep it: - The only way to buy out of the ads is to pay $1.19 (on sale😂) PER DAY!! You really want me to pay you $35 PER MONTH to eliminate ads to make it enjoyable to play your game? Are you nuts? - There is no way to earn boosters as you go through the game. - You earn a few coins for most levels but there is nothing to do with them. You can’t use them to buy anything. And then you hit a hard or extra-hard level and once you pass, the only option is to watch an ad or skip getting your coins for the level (kinda feels like getting cheated). - They force you into the races - no way to opt out. And then you have to click out of the results after each game. I enjoy the game concept but you can’t really get into the flow of the game with the forced ad watching. And no game is worth $35/month. EDIT: Like all of them of the genre, the difficulty suddenly increases and the time allowed to complete a level suddenly decreases and then you are just stuck unless you want to pay $$. I don’t mind some investment to make a game more enjoyable to play but when having impossible levels becomes a business model, no thanks. I’m not interested in a money pit nor playing the same level over and over again. Too bad!

Pros & Cons

This game is just ok. Here are my thoughts: - I sort of liked that initially, the games did not increase in difficulty level. Many reviews said they did not like this about the game but I was specifically looking for a game that I could mindlessly play & not have to concentrate too hard on it & this appeared to be it. I’m just looking for a time filler & I don’t want to get so heavily involved in any game that it gets that deep. I’m around level 1900 & as of late, there are games that seem like they need so many moves & they only give you like 10 or something. Then there are games where they give you 28 moves & you solve it in 8. - You don’t have the option to go back to previous levels, which I wouldn’t mind doing, but you can’t. - The coins are useless & are used to buy different colors or backgrounds- all stuff that people probably don’t care about. -I like that it’s not a timed game. Timed games drive me crazy & take the fun out of it (for me) but it would be a cool option to have for those that like it. - I paid for the removal of the ads & for the most part, this takes them all away unless you are skipping the level or using the special features like cutting a rope. - There is nowhere that shows you how to play the game. Only by accident did I discover things like picking up a rope & moving it around only to place it back where it was can change its position on the board or sometimes free it. I also had a few games to where two ropes were anchored in the same spot. This isn’t something I saw a lot of & it could be a fluke because you can’t always do this.
