GM Financial

Took me a year to figure out what happened but I think I have it figured out. Last year I was logged out of my account without ever doing so. I wanted to check how much I owed on my truck. Forgot how to log back in and gave up. Two months later my wife says to me you missed two payments. Told her nope I get direct deposit same day they take the money they never took it from me then opened my banking app and proved it. Then I called Gm financial the first lady said the bank said you were bankrupt I laughed because I knew better. They blamed the bank the bank blamed them 3 calls later I was able to get the 150 points that was taking from my credit score. Because Gm financial had a glitch not me or my bank. So how did it happen? I found out today I was logged out again because my iPhone updated to iOS 18. Luckily they did take the money this month but I never received the email saying that they did. I was also told this time of year that their is a rise in cases like this just before the three last major holidays of the month. I suggest after updating your phone to call and be sure nothing on your account was turned off or that your payments did go through. Best of luck to you all and do not become complacent like I did and not check and be proactive. After every update on your phone be vigilant and make sure your payments went through. No one deserves this. It's a computer glitch not a human mistake and we SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED for a glitch made by the machine. This happened to me September and October of last year. I have proof if necessary.

GM financial has helped me times ten! I thought my truck was going to be repoed but calling and keeping in contact with them and letting them know what is going on in my specific situation, they helped me through this entire year even! It has been a complete relief using them for my truck financing. With everything else going on in my life, Maggy, (she’s a representative for GM financial), she was just so helpful and informative. I was able to fix this issue and EVEN be ahead a few payments as well. I’m so thankful for her as well as every GM financial representative that has spoke to me with kindness and understanding when I’m in a stressed out state of mind.
