Hope review reaches the right person! You need to update the trigger functions to include setting the lights to a mood. As of now you can only trigger lights to one specific color. If you want them in a mood you have to set them individually and CANT use Siri. Not ideal if there’s 50 of them for outside soffit lighting and you want them to change colors and dance for the holidays. Red white blue for Independence Day. I have set moods for individual lights depending on their order. First light rwb(red white blue) next is wbr, then brw, etc. When they’re all set to their mood it appears that the colors just flow/dance down the line. Compounded with the Siri function, one would only have to turn the lights on and tell Siri to “set the outside lights to 4th of July” and boom, done. Same can be done for Halloween, Christmas etc. This would be a great high end solution for outdoor lighting and could be marketed as such with great commercial potential and each order being for 30-80 lights/home/order, all with just a simple update!!! If this gets resolved I would gladly give this app 5 stars or more if I could.

I came across Globe’s stuff while searching for some affordable smart light bulbs in my local store. I didn’t think much of it and bought a few. I hadn’t done any research beforehand and this was the first smart device I’ve ever set up. Though skeptical because I had to download and learn yet another new app, setting up smart scenes for on and off or to change color was simple enough. Though I didn’t think I could setup voice-activated commands, I’d simply keep the app open on my phone and was happy. A few months later after an update to the app, the interface had completely changed (for the better). I realized I could now connect my commands to Siri, which changed everything. I had set up my favorite commands and did everything by voice. Something I’d want for the future is the ability to easily bulk change light settings. I have multiple of the same colored bulb. I often want them all dim at a specific level, or all to change color at random times. Though it’s a little tedious, I can set this up through “Smart Scenes” to individually change the bulbs to a certain setting then set that up to activate to a specific command through Siri. Most times though, I wish I didn’t have to. I wish I could just command Siri to do things that I don’t need to make a Smart Scene every time for. I’m not too keen on the solution being just making myself tens of smart scenes, nor having tens of smart scenes recommended to me. All in all, I like the app. I’m reassured because I’ve seen continuous improvements in the app interface every time I check - and I’ve had this for a year now! This makes me think that the devs and management seem to really care and listen to customer feedback. I see myself buying more lights with Globe when it gets easier for me to do bulk commands. In the meantime, the app gets the job done. The commands execute with little to no delay and are not buggy at all.

Although I enjoy my product, when I bought my light bulbs I was expecting much easier and complex functionality. It is proving to become much more frustrating than convenient for complex scenes. I feel like since I bought three lights in a package and was planning to use them in the same fixture. It is cool that you can control each action step-by-step but there is no easier to operate them. I found it shocking that there was no way to easily execute actions on all devices (in a room or fixture) without separately programming them every time. It seems impossible to easily create a slow gradient of light over a period of time, whether intensity or color. I have yet to figure out how to gradually increase the intensity of my lights to mimic a sunrise when I wake up or to set a rainbow gradient for festive moods. It’s also annoying that even when I set my lights to turn a certain color when I turn them on via light switch, they always flash the preset orange beforehand. There also should be an exception list within the conditions so you don’t risk triggering other automatic scenes while trying to use another. I really wish operation was smoother. The scenes just seem like they would work better if they were preloaded onto the app and the customization or creation of new operations was left to the user (and to an extent this is somewhat true, just not in a way that is useful). Final note: when you make a timed scene and it is in operation, there is no way to manually stop the scene while it’s in progress. I attempted to make a gradient and turn them off when it didn’t work, but now my lights won’t stop turning on trying to execute the scene.
