I tapped get in the App Store. It charged me $33 and change just for the app then I can’t use it unless I pay $50. So I’m out $33 and judging by the reviews your company isn’t changing anything. They are still perfectly ok with continuously double charging or hiding the fact that it’s gonna cost $83 to change the color of lights. I’d like a full refund, keep your empty apology. If you were really sorry you’d fix the issue for everyone going forward but that hasn’t happened in over a year according to the reviews and my experience today. I will be submitting complaints to the BBB and the App Store for this egregious situation. Only time will tell if you do the right thing by your customers or if you’re still ok with ripping them off. Shame on all of you. If this is not rectified promptly I hope you all get bedbugs and instead of someone helping you out in life they rip you off like you’ve done to so many others.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SCAM APP. Making this a 5 star so you see it. If I could leave a negative review I would. They advertised they are compatible with Govee lights. And then their “scanner” does not work at all to scan QR codes. This is the most horrid app ever. I got a year subscription thinking it would work only to find out it doesn’t work at all. I canceled my subscription within minutes of purchasing and requested a refund. I have sent 3 emails and have been ignored by them. This app should be deleted as they are robbing people blind.
I am a NORMAL PERSON. I was trying to install this app for a led light trim I put on my ceiling. The app welcomes you with a screen asking you to buy memberships at very expensive prices. I cannot remember as I am writing this, but I know the rices were ABSURD. yearly I think the price was about forty dollars just to control lights. I just wanted to make better colors than the ones offered on the remote. The lights I got were govee. They try to trick you into thinking that you are lucky when it makes you pay fifty dollars for a lifetime pro version of the app. This offer has always been there and always will be as a sales gimmick. I recommend using another app or just using the built in colors. I am not able to pay the prices they are and when my parents tried to see if there was a way to do a family account from multiple devices, it wouldn’t. It makes you pay per device controlling the lights. I would rather not have to ask my dad to change my led color every single time. Please make good choices and plan ahead to see if it’s worth it for you.
