Gladiator Manager

Honestly so fun! When I first started playing, I kind of complained about they’re not being enough gear like weapons and armor, but as you play and unlock gems through certain achievements, you can unlock different armor and weapons that you can buy and or make yourself. Really gives you something awesome to grind and Work up for. This game is honestly so fun. I’m so addicted. I get chronically depressed when one of my gladiators die in combat because he worked so hard training them up and making them special. Still could use with a few extra pieces of armor, I feel like it would be nice to have just a few more options. And then the last addition I think would be perfect. Perfect would be a win loss tie counter. Just so you can keep track of how much you’re gladiators have fought total. I know you can kind of do it with fame but depend depending on win or lose it’ll go up and down. All in all a very fun game that encourages you to grind and unlock things without forcing you paid to win! 9/10 from me

Feels like a game I would make if I had any passion or skill lol. I’m a big fan of the visual style and gameplay, but there are some shortcomings that prevent it from being what it has the clear potential to be.First of all, it feels quite buggy. I think this might have to do with the fact that a lot of the game’s content is confusingly gated behind a premium currency of sorts. For example, I found a rhino for sale at market and bought it for 500 denarii only for it to immediately die between weeks. Initially I thought it must have been a terrible turn of fate despite the vagueness surrounding it, but later I found the option to unlock rhinos in the gem page… so, why was it available to begin with? I’ve also had gladiators gain traits they should not have, such as the trait for defeating escaped gladiators when I had done no such thing, and had a gladiator with very high cunning randomly disarm an opponent, which was neat… only to find that the disarm skill is another gem unlock.Second, some gameplay concepts, like influence, seem underdeveloped. It’s a welcome addition and, as a long time fan of the Starz Spartacus series, it’s fun seeing familiar names like Battiatus constantly denied the influence he desired in the series. However, I was able to gain enough influence to sway the senate in a few weeks, so the pacing seems a bit off for a lowly lanista, which basically amounts to a glorified pimp.I haven't played enough to really say definitively, but altogether the game just feels a little loose. If some mechanics were tightened up, I think this would quickly become a favorite game of mine. That said, I’m still enjoying it a lot, warts and all, and I think it deserves more attention.

To start off, my husband has a Samsung and has been playing this, which made me want to play it. His layout of the game is just different than mine on my IPhone . Which seems to give him a edge as he wins most of his battles. For instance he needs spy’s to see stats of gladiators and I can see stats from the beginning which makes buying a gladiator a bit easy for me. However, he can adjust gladiator weapons and armor from the start, where as I can’t. This makes things very hard for me as I can’t change weapons around to give a fights a better loyalty score or make a fighter fight with two swords so he can do more damage. He wishes he didn’t need spies and could do weapon training (apparently he needs to unlock this). When I go to the Ludis tab and pick a person , there is no tab to adjust the weapons or armor. Do I need to unlock it or upgrade something because I can’t find it. Also the game keeps crashing I can’t seem to stay on longer than 20 min.
