Formacar: Buy Car & Customize

I’ve been using this app for years, it has generally been an excellent 3D configurator with a great AR mode. However, ever since the last update the app fails to open 75% of the time and once it does open you see that the 3D configurator is stuck behind a $1.99 a month paywall. I am honestly fine with paying the $1.99 a month and I would if the app wasn’t so inconsistent with opening and WORSE than it was before the paywall. I use the latest iPhone, a 17 Pro Max and it is on the latest ios update so I know that this is to no fault of my own, I have also already contacted support and they do not reply. In summary, the app needs to fix the app opening issues, and IMPROVE the app for the app to be worth $1.99/month, for example one feature that was taken away was the fact that you could use all of the different 3d configurator studio lighting as AR lighting, this made for much more realistic creations, however inexplicably this was removed and we were reverted back to the old 5 different forms of lighting for AR mode which isn’t as realistic. I think this app has great potential and I would be more than happy to be a paying customer but I need the app to have stability and improvement, once this happens I will change my review to 5 stars.

So, The game is very nice I like it. But lately, It has been giving me issues. Like, when I try to switch from the Jesko Absolut to the AMG GT, It DOES NOT WORK. The Jesko is cool and all, but I want to work with other cars yk? And it’s not just with the AMG GT. It’s with every other car. And plus some of the car brands don’t show up in that section like Lotus, HongQi, Lifan, Genesis, Lucid, Delorrean, Ares, Apollo and much more. Thank you for your time.

5 stars This is a great configurator and in gen 2 you can add tons of modifications, there are an alright amount of cars in gen 2 but there can definitely be more better cars in gen 2 like the Ferrari la Ferrari. Also this is just a question which is why don’t you guys have any McLarens? Do you guys need certain licensing or confirmation from the company? It would be great if you guys could add McLaren. And you should also add more accurate engine noises for each car in the AR mode, because they all have the same noise. 2 stars -January New: This configurator is great, amazing detail. I’m lucky because I was able to join this app when everything was free and I was able to customize all my cars. But now that’s the problem, all the new cars cost money, and now tons of parts cost money, the tires, rims. Almost everything costs money. And you have to pay for everything separately. It’s crazy, it’s almost not even worth it to customize and pay for the car when you can’t experiment or do anything. I understand you need to make money, but if you want to make money then you can just make a subscription based deal where you have access to all cars and parts. But paying for every part and car separately adds up very quickly and gets way too expensive.
