When I was a young girl I played this on my iPod. I never got to finish the game because I got stuck on finding the ingredients for the potion in Chapter 4. A couple years passed and I tried to find the game by Googling it, but had no luck. Some more years passed, and I had a dream about the game. It made me want to try and search again. This time around, I found it and I am so glad I did. I had a lovely time, I actually got to the end! We need more games like these! Thank you for the hours of fun.
I was a PC nerd long before phones and I lived for all of the independent engine games that would come out. I played this with a mouse on a laptop a decade ago and couldn’t believe it when I saw it here. The game translates perfectly to an app style. If you’re an old school Sierra fan, you’ll like this. It has stood the test of time.
It contains swearing, men making lewd sexual comments to women, characters threatening to kill other characters (sometimes with vivid descriptions), and murder, so it shouldn't be rated ages 4+. If it were rated age-appropriately, I would give it four stars. It's a lot of game to provide for free, which is nice, and I like adventure games. I'd only give it four stars because the lewd sexual comments were unnecessary and because the scene with the village idiot threatening to kill everyone, and then the villagers planning to kill him instead, was just creepy.
