Fit For Bucks - Walk & Earn

I have enjoyed the app while the several months I have had it. It helps keep me motivated to get my steps in and is an easy interface. I only have one issue and that is the rewards. For starters none of them are near me for well over 1,000 miles some places reaching almost 4,000 miles away. The online store rewards are so little that it doesn’t even cover shipping. The best one I’ve came across only took off $20 for an item that was almost $100. That’s not much of a reward. I suggest letting our rewards accumulate to go towards trading in for items. Other than that I’ve enjoyed the app.

I installed FitForBucks app few months ago and results have been exceptional. This app motivated me to walk more from the moment I downloaded it. I check my steps several times a day. It was so interesting to learn how many steps it takes to walk from my bed to the kitchen, to garage and around the house. I never thought about this before. Also, it was very easy to connect my HealthKit to FitForBucks, just by pushing one button. Yesterday I decided to purchase Fitbit to register more steps and to get even more rewards. Again I was able to connect Fitbit to this app in just few seconds. I think FitForBucks did an amazing job designing the app. I am finding new places in our city by browsing the reward images and reading information about the merchants. I wish they had even more options in our community. I invited many of my friends to FFB and now we’re competing with each other. It’s like a new fun game, but at the same time it’s very important to our HEALTH. Thank you, guys. Great job on this app!

This app has very inconsistent rewards, and it’s next to impossible to know the rules, which seemingly can change in a matter of days. For example, Backyard Bowls in Santa Monica used to offer a free smoothie to reward steps, which was discontinued and a 20% off coupon was added. This app got me in the door to try the shop out, and after using this app for 20% off a smoothie once, I tried again some days later. The first redemption worked fine, but the second time, I got an error message along the lines of ‘patience my friend, you can only redeem once every 7 days’. This is a real shame, as I wasn’t expecting this, nor were the shop attendants, so I left empty handed as I didn’t have the additional change required for the smoothie. It was particularly unfortunate as I preordered it, so I hope that someone else was able to enjoy.
