I purchased my first camera two years ago. I’ve had a lot of problems almost every time I open the app it is unable to establish a connection to the encrypted device, or it will say unable to establish a connection to the camera. It has glitched out and not recorded critical information on my property more than a few times now. I thought it was maybe a fluke faulty camera so I bought one more this time a pan tilt zoom indoor and placed it in my climate controlled garage. I have the same issues, unable to establish connection playback errors, the app crashes when searching through recorded events if you skip ahead more than 2 times in a video if freezes and app shuts down. It stops recording randomly during motion events. I do not recommend this. My garage was broken into and the footage recorded instead of motion tracking like it was supposed to was just the camera just zoomed into the ceiling and I could only listen to people stealing all my stuff and not see them or provide anything of value for video to the police because both of the cameras failed when they were both aimed in the right spot nothing but let down. My cameras were calibrated properly and when sound detection alerted me I instantly opened app like 7 times before it worked and the view my camera showed was all white from my ceiling but I could hear the thieves. About 3 hours prior to break in the camera got a mind of its own and tiled straight up. Very very mad I am and regret buying them. False peace of mind

just pretty clunky app turning the lights on and off you hit the wrong tiny button and then it changes to a different setting because you missed. You try to change the color temperature you can't precisely enter a temperature it goes from 5474 to 5512 to 5550 I just wanna put exactly five 5500 and I can't pick exactly that can't entered in numerically it's only a stupid slider. can we have some variety in the input. Sliders and scrolling...omg, let's move on and get modern. Modern is always more precise than old, do you agree? I should always be able to highlight the field and enter a numeric value. I swear apps just continually take usefulness and utility away from things that were only on the Internet previously. The arrogance of the people that designed these things that their choices are what everyone wants or they look at the data and the data reflects what they think the people want but really the questions are asked to get the right answer if that makes sense. so if you like sliders you're only gonna present questions that get people to like sliders. would also like scenes really the app only lets me make flashing lights like a stupid LED strip light I wanna have to mood settings sunset sunrise the aurora borealis the lightbulb should be able to simulate those things to some effect but no. I know you guys are engineers not creative people so you should have two different teams. creative and engineering. the engineers should not be coming up with the ideas, ever. Best, disappointed consumer

We have two brands(apps) that we use in our home. Feit, of course, and the other rhymes with ring. I have to admit that the pictures we receive from the Feit devices are as clear if not better then the others. It’s a true observation when I read other reviews that pointed out the limited features. Keep in mind though a lightbulb that is watching over my vehicles only cost 40 dollars. It does have all the features I need to rest peacefully, two way talk, night vision , zoom, local storage of pictures and/or video, push notifications, works with Alexa, and more. All I had to do was screw a lightbulb in and set it up in the app. I’m a carpenter by trade and I’m capable of tearing out the old and putting in the new, but why? When all you have to do is screw in a bulb. We do have the flood light out back and it does great. It’s not over sensitive and every raindrop or bug set it off. Not that anything is wrong with the other brand, I’m just impressed how I was able to save money and didn’t have to sacrifice any performance limiting features. Thanks a breath of fresh air.
