FATE: Reawakened

Played Fate back when I was just a kid on my moms old dell computer. Always have loved this game series! Reawakened is exactly what I want to play to relive my childhood!!! There are bugs that still need ironing out however. The game crashes and you lose a lot of progress at times, the shrines get bugged to where the enemies don’t stop spawning and you can’t complete the defense of the shrine which creates incomplete quests or unable to reap the rewards of the shrine. The most frustrating bug is the joystick for attack direction. While attacking you often get stuck in a position and can’t turn while swinging, so you have to stop attacking and let go of joystick to then start attacking again to fix the joystick sticking to one direction. Other than these few bugs, the game is amazing!!!

Hi there! First off this game has been with me to adulthood, I loved playing this series & it’s been a journey, I was ecstatic when it finally dropped on Xbox & now mobile. A true blessing. However, there are some concerns with gaming on mobile as I also play on my iPad. First, I SOOOO wish the game had an offline mode. Sometimes the internet isn’t stable & causes crashing/saving issues. My iPad is updated to the latest version, & the iPad itself is a 9th generation, still works like a charm. As of posting this review I have ONLY played the first game, not the rest as a test. Also loved the fact of preordering helped save some moolah. I HAVE NOT played the game on my updated iPhone 14, so I will test that out next. There are some frame rate issues, as I have tweaked the settings to have a smoother gameplay. Other than that, I haven’t had any other problems. I hate to rate this a 3 star for now, but once some things update & with seeing improvements I look forward & hope it encourages the team to improve this amazing series. Thank you all, godbless!🙏🏻💝

There’s a few bugs here and there. Saves deleting randomly and having to reload the app a couple times. My set name got erased and is my renown rank. When fishing if I click cast right after reeling in, the spell animation plays. Sometimes enemies do nothing and even glide with no running animation. Impossible dungeon generation (closed off areas) which is fixed by going a couple levels away and back. If I go to the first level (after traveling to town from a higher one) the quests given are on the lower levels. I can’t use the town portal scroll/book or identify in my pets inventory. You cannot cancel a fetch quest if the item is in your possession, throw it on the ground first. There’s also weird hit boxes with breakable objects breaking far out of reach when breaking/attacking something else. In the app settings I don’t see anything related to iCloud so idk how a fix would be done there regarding saves. These are bugs from the first game I’m not sure about the later titles. Most things have a work around and the controls are pretty good. It’s functional and can run 60fps too but needs a lot more fine tuning. I wish fishing wasn’t so nerfed. Hopefully this isn’t a cash grab and devs clean things up. I don’t use controllers but there’s no support for it btw
