FanPlus

I have maxed out most of the badges and have over 1k days attendance on this app, but I’m considering leaving after the most recent updates. First, they disincentivised having lots of reliable friends and checking-in on the app regularly by dropping the number of votes you can send/receive daily from 1260 to 210, removed the ability to gain up to 70 friends (now new users can only have 50), and removed the multiplier boosts from both the weekly check-in and shop. With the most recent update, they’ve overloaded the app with ads. Send votes to friends? An ad plays. Daily attendance check-in? Another ad. To get any useable number of votes you must watch 5 ads every day. This app isn’t fun anymore, it’s a drag and time consuming in an annoying way. I’ve had to replace about 20 of my friends in the past month, so many are frustrated with the app that they’re quitting. And I’ll probably join them.

I am very disappointed and upset. I worked hard to build my account and acquire votes and friends that would also send votes. When this app shut down for several hours for some kind of update 4 days ago I was locked out of my account. There isn’t even a log in page showing on the app. When I go through the prompts I am offered, which looks like pages to open a new account, when I enter my Nick Name, it tells me it’s already in use, so I know my account still exists. When I go through the App Store to report the problem, the creator’s website gives a log in page. When I enter my info there, it tells me my account doesn’t exist. All my time and effort to acquire votes for BTS V’s birthday project are wasted. I have never been more frustrated or angry about an app before in my life! I feel cheated, especially since I had to watch hundreds of ads to gain votes and spent time searching for friends that would send as much as they received votes. The sad part is, all the votes I gained won’t be contributed to this birthday project for a truly wonderful person. I can’t recommend this app. I did nothing wrong. The whole problem happened because of the update FanPlus did. My app worked fine that morning before they shut down for maintenance or whatever they were doing. I only knew they had done something when I got a flash notification and then I saw another person on Twitter complaining they couldn’t log in to FanPlus. Since my friends on Twitter are all BTS V fans, I am disheartened to know how many votes for V we’re probably lost if other fans were having the same problem. This is so unfair!

Nice app except for the fact that some ads have 2 parts. The second part of those ads requires you to wait until the x appears. I would like for it to have the x be there so that I don’t have to wait for it. An example of of this is the Project Makeover ad. I would change my review if something is done about those ads.
