This is not only a great app, but it’s a really great company and service offered by the province of British Columbia in the city of Vancouver. Their customer service is top-notch and the service is incredibly easy to use. I wish more cities in the United States and overseas had a service like this.
I had terrible experience with Evo. I have over 10 years of experience in driving, and my I submitted my documents. They first said you don’t have two years of experience in driving because of my US driving license. After I submitted my driving license from my home country from ten years ago, they said while it shows you have experience, it does not show you did not get tickets over the past two years in your home country! This is while I have not been back home over the past six years. I told them this fact but they never responded. I sent several emails afterwards to different EVO emails but no one responded. Clearly it is because they realize I am from a “brown” country. This is such a racist company which should be embarrassed of its existence! I would never recommend using it to anyone.
I can get around without any issues. Just a few small things that could make the app a great one: Integrate with apple or google maps instead of its own map to gauge walking distance and directions better. Too many damage pictures to sort through, so I end up taking pictures of every non-stickered scratch or dent.
