EveryDose: Medication Reminder

I have used EveryDose for about a year now. It has been a daily tool to track medications. The cross-check of medication interactions and potential side effects are very helpful. Over the course of the year, I had experienced two harmless, but annoying notification errors. I reached out to the support team and Andrew responded very quickly both times. Seriously, it was within an hour of my submission. With a couple steps to submit some diagnostic data, Andrew followed up and thanked me for reporting the bug and they released an update with fixes in a short period of time. Even though iOS now has medication tracking in the Health App, I still use EveryDose every day. Thanks to Andrew and team for caring about your users and continuing to improve an App that I have recommended to friends and family numerous times. Great customer service is a rare experience today. I highly recommend EveryDose.

When the app I was using to track my meds for the past several years became unavailable, I spent a few months trying to find a new app. I don’t think there are to many med tracking apps I haven’t tried but none of them worked the way I needed them to work until I found EveryDose. I found that over half of the apps I tried didn’t support “as needed” meds and if they did, they didn’t work the way I wanted them to work. With EveryDose I can keep track of the meds I have to take every day and I can track “as needed”, being able to change the quantity, the time, or even “untake” something if I put it in by mistake. One evening I was tracking my meds and a few seconds after I checked them off, they went back to not taken. After several tries and turning my phone off and on I realized the problem was probably not on my end so I went to help and support in the app and emailed the apps writers and told them my problem. A very short time later I was surprised because their support team got in touch with me and they got the problem fixed that night. I was so happy and relieved that I wouldn’t have to try and find another app that did what I wanted it to do. Thanks so much for creating this app and for the very fast support I received when I had a problem. I recommend this app to everyone taking meds and keeping track of them, but also for anyone taking “as needed” meds. Thanks, Ginny Magee

I installed this app for its ability to sync between multiple devices. It does that well and does the basic job of tracking meds well, but lacks certain features for people with non routine med regimens. Overall I would give this app 4.5 stars if I could, just can’t quite give it 5. Originally I experienced a bug when setting a late “take” time, but to their credit the developers saw my complaint and promptly fixed the issue. A minor annoyance - if you miss the notification to take a group of pills together there’s no way to do it later; you have to enter each med individually. So don’t skip or cancel a group notification. My wife is on long term pain meds which need to be taken no sooner than every so many hours apart but can be stretched out if her pain level allows. She also has to monitor not taking too many pain meds in a 24 hour time period. This app doesn’t support those needs. Her current app, Dosecast, does. On the other hand Dosecast requires a “premium” ($28/yr) subscription to sync between devices while this app is free.
