The app no longer take gift card and I don’t like it.
Just went to local Esso to fill up. Tried the app once and went through all the steps only to get an error message. Tried the entire process again (bc I really wanted 5x the points), and again, got error message at final step saying I needed to use another payment method. Frustrating, time consuming, and I only got base pts after digging around for my Optimum card and swiping it. My optimum account is linked to my speedpass app but it does me no good if it won’t work. Maybe you’ll give all of your customers 5x the points for swiping their optimum since it’s an issue with your app. Wishful thinking.
The app works fine, except for the fact that it will automatically lock up $150 for gas from your CC. I drive a small hatchback- at most it $50 a tank. That should be an easy preset in the app or user profile.
