For many months app hasn’t opened, is stuck in initial scroll mode. I now need to remove my card online restrictions due to serious health issues where I must have groceries delivered so need instacart. After many back and forths between local SNAP and FIS cardholder services (the latter who initially misdirected me to SNAP office), I found out I can change through app however this app isn’t working!!! Hasn’t been opening for months and they aren’t hearing me. Currently a number of emails (no name or number of rep given in email) with ebtedge to get THEM to change for me, but they aren’t reading my email, just giving me a new temporary passcode to login, etc. I’m in tears. I was forced to shop locally with card and had a medical event and don’t want that to happen again. UPDATE. Local SNAP office rep was able to get a live rep from ebtedge online and she couldn’t help me change restrictions, referring me to website if app didn’t work; thankfully local SNAP rep was awesome and did this WITH me as I’m older and not so facile any more with digital stuff any more. I still can’t access this app, so use another out of state app to monitor my EBT balance and activity since the only one I’m to use here in Chittenden County, Vermont is a dud. At least my restrictions are now as I want them. Vermont needs to call them out.

Hi everyone. I am writing this because of an experience I had. I use my EBT card normally in grocery stores and someday I check the balance of my card and it was empty and many charges from different states and stores were made that have nothing to do with me. I also never shared my card with anyone nor use it online before. This was due to some store using card skimmer that allow them to get my card information without me knowing and it’s also due to the government not proving any security message to protect these cards. That is why any of us that use EBT cards need this app to protect your card from being used without you knowing. This app will help you to lock your card and prevent it from being used online or outside of your state which is high recommended. And when you are going to pay or use the card just make sure to unfreeze it and freeze it back after finish paying using the app. I would also like to talk about the other negative reviews regarding the app yes the is not stable and sometimes it does not work which is why I also recommend visiting the cardholder EBT edge website and login or make an account and there you will be able to average all of the features available In the app. This is not optional you need this app cause it’s only a matter of time when you will be a victim of card skimmers.

Someone need to fix this app. Clearly there’s a glitch or something wrong with it if everyone is having the same issues. The app logged me out on its own. When I attempt to put in my user and password it tells me it’s wrong it also tells me my security questions are wrong and I know for sure nothing that I’m putting in is wrong because I use the same password and security questions for everything that way it’s easier for me. I called the customer support number and there’s not even a real person to talk to that can help you reset your password or account. I called the WIC office themselves and they told me there’s absolutely nothing they can do about it and there’s no one to call to fix it so yall need to get it together and get this fixed because it is a hassle to call a number and figure out your stuff over the phone with an automated system when you are in line at the store holding other customers up. It’s also very embarrassing and discouraging people already give ebt and WIC users a hard enough time as it is so it would be nice if someone could fix this problem or actually hire a real customer support team that can help people not a useless automated system.
