This app is just as horrible as the Oregon ONE website. It completely misses the mark and is an absolute burden to navigate. It is beyond belief that the state cannot hire capable programmers to design software that actually works smoothly and serves its residents. Instead, we are left dealing with a shockingly incompetent system and a terrible user experience. Honestly, this is the worst website and app I have ever had the misfortune of using. I also want to add that putting in job opportunities that lead to people who are selling your information and scammer websites is really the icing on the cake. I’m on food stamps because I’m broke because I can’t find a good job but you’re gonna lead me to websites that take my information and lead me to scams and websites so other people can steal any money that I have left?!?! That is reckless and abhorrent on the behalf of Oregon DHS. They need to try to integrate the card so that you can add it to a digital wallet, but you know what I don’t wanna give them any brilliant ideas that they can screw up at this point because they pretty much screwed it up enough. They have a lot to work out before they take anything on thats text savvy.

This app is horrible when comparing it to the other app. The other app has features that are actually helpful. It would tell you how much you had deposited every month, would tell you specifics of the locations you had transactions at. This new app is also a slap to the face with some of the new features. They have a jobs category which might be ok if they had jobs listed that had a pay rate that was an actual living wage. (They get kickbacks for you applying or even viewing them through this app. They get kickbacks for almost every click on any of these ads) A lot of the ads say oh save money by spending money you don’t have to get this certain “benefit” which is not a benefit it’s a gimmick. Why would I I want to sign up for a free trial of something that I won’t be able to afford a week from now when it runs out. Or why would I want to buy a membership to somewhere I don’t have money for. People use food stamps for a reason. Because they can hardly afford to eat and a lot of times STILL have to supplement through food pantry’s that give you expired or moldy foods. The jobs posted will give you just enough money to lose food stamps and then be able to not afford even more of your bills that you are probably already struggling to pay. It’s a way for them to be able to swindle you. A few things are free but when you click to apply for or go to the website it’s falsely advertised on this app versus what it actually is. Any kind of government “help” is not actually help. This app is glitchy too. You can tell they rolled it out without being prepared.

First off, it’s similar to propel with the ads. However, I dislike the things below about this app.. it doesn’t show pending transactions, it won’t allow you to block out of state purchases, and the login was harder than it should have been-multiple steps when it should’ve just allowed me to use my previous login credentials for the old app. Please look into adding pending transactions, a dark mode option, and blocking out of state purchasing option. I will use the old app until this one gets the kinks worked out. It has potential, just not ideal.
