This is a super fun, simple, and casual game with extremely friendly players. You can stop playing and easily start where you picked up. Although there is basically no story line, leveling up your combat skills, gathering, and crafting skills will keep you hooked. It might be tough to get into it but itโs very rewarding and challenging enough to keep you on your toes. Unfortunately, I recently decide to part ways with the game for a few reasons: (1) As an Indie game, itโs still developing and adding content. It can feel stagnant or empty at times. (2) Shards are extremely expensive but I guess thatโs how mobile games work. Although, I did buy a lot of shards and to support the creators. (3) Wiki isnโt updated enough to give you all the information on items or people. (4) It was consuming a lot of my life because I was so obsessed playing on a daily basis. It really is fun! (5) Most of the game you will be playing alone. Itโs easy to meet people but itโs unlikely that youโll do things together. My feedback would be to incentivize the partying system to make it more collaborative, add more cosmetic content, and incentivizing the patreon system. It makes no sense to not give shards on a monthly basis to patreon supporters or even certain exclusive pets or items. If you have a subscription system (example: $5 a month, obtain 250 shards), Iโm sure youโll make much more consistent income that you can invest back in the game! Many players Iโve talked to supported this. Despite this, this was one of the best mobile games Iโve ever played. I loved the simplicity aspect and the content kept me busy. I wish the creators all the best and maybe Iโll join again when thereโs more content.
Itโs a decent mmorpg style game with old school graphics. Itโs easy to figure out how crafting and other functions work even though thereโs no tutorial of any kind. This game does need some balance tweaking however. So far accuracy seems to be the most useful stat because my character is apparently blind as a bat. Smithing is incredibly slow to level even at low levels. Mining goes up very fast but the rocks run out of ore very quickly due to the amount of players. Havenโt touched fishing or woodcutting yet but I would imagine the wood crafting skill is the same as smithing. Stackable drops should really be a thing especially with a small inventory and how much crap drops from mobs and each smithing bar being a single space. Either make it stack or make it worth more and drop less. Stacks for craft materials would just be a good QoL idea. Lastly, this game really needs some kind of a map. I can tell there are at least four area not including dungeons but finding them is unnecessarily difficult. Trees, rocks and random brush make the paths difficult to see let alone get through. There doesnโt seem to be any real rhyme or reason to it. Some of the transitions like to the left of the starting area where you use the rock to change to the other side of the fence are not intuitive at all. Make them more distinct somehow. I really enjoy this game but it has some glaring flaws. Good start, but keep tweaking please.
I usually do not post reviews, however I felt it necessary here because Iโve actually really been enjoying this game. There is no question here that this game developed its roots from the early years of the major online game โrunescapeโ. However, it feels like the developer took out the more annoying aspects classic runescape had and made a game that all of us old school runescape players wish we had back then! This game has massive potential to really compete with bigger mmorpg titles, however the one downside is that it almost feels like it was released a little bit too early. What I mean by this is that it is missing a massive amount of content. It needs quests, more skills (which are coming soon), a better trading system thatโs not so difficult to use, a bigger map, private chat with other players, text overhead display, chat filters (because my god, the chat feature in this game is super clustered, it is near impossible to try to talk to one player and hold a conversation. And good luck buying stuff), etc. etc. it is a great game with huge potential but I feel like a lot of these things should have already been dev loped and incorporated before release. However, hopefully development remains strong and expands and we can get a bunch of new content and better features in time because Iโm really enjoying this game! One of my MAIN positives and the main reason why Iโm still playing this game is that there are 0 adds and you donโt have to pay to win! Although I have been donating money for shards to help out the developer!
