Been using Cloud SIM for six months or so. I subscribed to their 12 month plan. I couldn’t have been happier until I needed to change iPhones. I installed the app on my new iPhone but then needed to login using the telephone number of registered with. I don’t have this number anymore. So, I contacted their customer service about it and I’ve been stonewalled. No response, so I’m locked out of a subscription I’ve paid for. How is it possible that they don’t have an account recovery mechanism? I’ve lodged a complaint with Apple and am waiting for their response. Overall, until now, I’d generally been satisfied with Cloud SIM. Although, I did receive a phone call from a random woman who was as confused as me because she said she’d had a missed call from me. Given that I have never made a call or sent a text on Cloud SIM (because I only use it to receive messages) that was suspicious and led me to believe my Cloud SIM number was being used by someone else. There’s just something a little fishy about this company. Proceed with caution, if you must.
This app is a scam just to get you to keep feeding it with more money. You apparently get a month to use for £3.99. As soon as you purchase that you’re told you have £0.00 minutes 😁 then have to buy more or buy a bundle. Hushed doesn’t do that nor does Shuffle so why do you? I made one call and neither of us could even work out what the other was saying the sound was so distorted it was a joke! Then after one phone call which just dropped mid conversation the other person wasn’t getting my calls and if I answered theirs it wouldn’t connect. One issue after the other 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 Developers, Do not respond saying I did this wrong and that wrong. You’re ripping people off, period! Reply telling me where that initial £3.99 goes that you claim buys you the first minutes.
Looking at the features available it seems a really useful app. Having that second number for people to call you on could be particularly useful for those running small local groups. Not fully investigated the costing yet... Wondering if the signal will be clearer than our rather rubbish one...? (Our Broadband speeds aren’t great either 😟)
You can have up to 4 real additional phone numbers on your mobile. For both incoming and outgoing Calls & SMS. Choose from UK, US, Canada, Poland & Fr...
