I get to invest in green energy, while earning a 10% APR that’s automatically disbursed (sometimes more!), with zero effort on my part. That’s 3-4x standard bank interest 🤯 this is a brilliant concept, perfectly executed. The app is dead simple, just pick something to invest in and choose how much you’re comfortable loaning. The SEC regulates this company so it feels safe, and you’re investing alongside thousands of other people pooling their money for the greater good. I’ve gotten multiple investments back already, plus the promised interest — on or ahead of schedule. Climatize genuinely feels like a secret financial weapon I have (except one that I tell everyone about). More projects to fund, please!

The concept is wonderful but the execution is unfortunately poor. There are of course logistical challenges with any new app, but with only one investment I’ve had numerous login issues and issues linking with Chase bank (of which the team was aware but didn’t warn investors). Additionally, the team has extremely disjointed customer service and I’ve been passed around to multiple team members who won’t review previous email chains and needed to follow up multiple times. The demonstrated dynamic shows the team is more interested in the fluffier PR of charismatic projects than building an investor experience that inspires the confidence to attract substantial investments. Hopefully they will improve in the future as the concept is great.

Although the app isn’t perfect, they take their users requests into consideration and actively update the app. I look forward to seeing more solar projects on the platform. Aesthetic is cleaned simple and easy to use.
