Honeycomb Credit

Tried it out on a local business. Invested $1000. Business met their goal (it works kinda like go fund me). Then the business closes two months later. Does not pay back the investment. Honeycomb WILL NOT help you get that money back. I’ve contacted Honeycomb multiple times over the last several years. YEARS. And they won’t contact the business. They won’t pressure them to pay the money they owe investors. They won’t help you at all. Might as well just download Venmo and send money to the first person you see for all Honeycomb seems concerned in helping you out. Oh, and does it stop them from sending you spam and asking you to invest more with honeycomb? No, of course not.

I’ve been investing and supporting local businesses for over five years with Honeycomb. Huge fan of the team, company, and mission. Now the app helps make investing locally and keeping track of everything way easier!!

The app is a nice upgrade over navigating the website on my phone. The layout is simple and easy to use, and I like the portfolio feature. One request to the developer: Can you add a map feature to show business locations? I’d like to see where I’ve invested and where live offerings are.
