I was thirsty and had just run out of water, and also had some business associates coming over, so I ordered some Sanpellegrino sparkling water on the Thursday afternoon. Think it was either 2 or 3 x 500ml Sanpellegrino. For some reason no delivery slots were available until 12:00 on the Friday. Placed the order nevertheless, and drove to a local shop to get some water. Come Friday, I had an unexpected meeting to attend some 50Km from my home in Sandton. Cognisant of my expected water delivery, I rushed home like a headless chicken to be there in-time for the delivery. 12:00 came and went, and at 13:00 I checked the delivery. Bizarrely it was now scheduled for Saturday at 13:00. No notification, nothing. Order simply did not arrive and it took me some time to figure out that despite the “Shopping Complete” and “Waiting for driver” notification, the delivery had been postponed for some unknown reason. After spending another 20 minutes to cancel the order through the call centre (No options on App to cancel orders…), I ordered the same through Takealot for 25% cheaper and delivery arrived significantly earlier than the previous “60/60” commitment. So much for the supposed “60:60” benefit. :-(
I want to bring to your attention that I will no longer be shopping at checkers or order on 60sixty! Everytime I place an order and it is delivered with a hole at the bottom of one or something me of the bags and items smashed beyond use. Chocolates smashed into millions of pieces that it is inedible or bags of porridge where holes have been punctured in the packaging and when I remove the items from the shopping bags everything pours out onto the floor! This behavior is absolutely shocking and I do not believe this is happening in store when shopping is done or packed but it is done Pre delivery. It’s is absolutely disgusting and shocking that deliveries of goods I pay for are delivered like this! I pay for the goods and have to repurchase because your drivers are irresponsible! I will rather purchase from Picknpay asap going forward! This sabotage on goods is unacceptable!!! Disgusting to say the least!! I am angry at this on going behaviour!!!
Used the app to save me time . Ordered simple truth Mayo with alternative being Bewell. Neither were in stock (apparently 2 be wells were supposed to be put in my cart but weren’t) so the shopper took a non vegan Mayo and assumed in would want this 3rd alternative. Sat on the phone for 20 min because the “credit my wallet” button doesn’t submit. And now I have to go to the shop to get my Mayo anyways . Not worth it at all. Would have been quicker to just go out. Why offer the alternatives option then jsut deviate from that . Wasted my time now. Never using this service again
