Pick n Pay asap + SmartShopper

Pnp asap doesn’t even deserve 1 star. My order wasn’t delivered until they closed. I followed up with the agent who lied and said my order is enroute when I requested that they cancel it. The driver who was reported to be on the way never came, and my order never got cancelled. Pnp asap really bitten more than they can chew, they should stop this thing and let Checkers manage the territory. I’ve use checkers for years and they’d rather deliver early than late but pnp asap delivers late all the time. Worse, they reschedule your delivery for the next day without checking whether you can receive the delivery or not. On top of that, to cover up their lies, the app keeps changing times and eventually freezes it to the earlier time. I can say a lot but definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The problem is that the app states “ASAP” for delivery, meaning as soon as possible, but in reality, the estimated delivery time is often not accurate. For example, if you order your food at 9:00, the app may estimate arrival around 10:00, but in practice, it often arrives between 11:00 and 12:00, sometimes over two hours late. It can be frustrating, but the app is currently the fastest option in my area, so I still use it when I need something delivered. My advice: if you aren’t in a rush, it’s fine to order. But if you need something quickly, it’s better to go to the shop directly.
