Character Sheet

Nice app so far. I’m new to 5E but not to D&D or RPGs in general. Would love to see an enhancement to the die roller to support common character creation throws... for example, the 5E PHB suggests 4d6-subtract-lowest-die for each stat. There doesn’t appear to be a way to do that. Please add this mode so new players who are following along with the book can do things the right way :-) Another thing that would be welcome is if you could batch sets of die rolls - like rolling 4d6 (sans lowest) six times and present the results in a single glance so that a screen shot could be taken and shared with others as a way of saying “yes, I actually rolled these stats, what a lucky halfling am I” :) Lastly, to support character creation, the idea of collecting the results of a die roll set as immutable numbers that the player can drag/drop around on the attribute sheet would be awesome. Say you add a “roll stats” button. It rolls and sums 4d6 (sans lowest) six times, shows you the results, and then puts them in a pool down below the attributes, which are all set to zero. Then you drag/drop each (fixed) number from the pool to an attribute and continue to rearrange them until you’re happy... when you’re done you can click a “confirm” button that locks the stats for this character and boom. Done.

I looooooove this app! I was a little confused at first, for sure, but after exploring a bit it is really quite user friendly. The icons are also all so beautiful! I love the theme! I know I saw some people asking for more themes and I think it’s in the planned updates, but it looks excellent already! Though for sure I wouldn’t say no to some more options. I would ask for the option to delete a character (is there one or do I just not know how?) I also really like how I can customize spells and add all the information! I find it really tedious to flip through the PHB or search online so having it right there is suuuch a time saver. One thing I’d like to see in the future though is maybe sort the spells by level. So have the cantrips, first level spells, second level spells, etc, separated to make it easier to keep track of slots. The best thing ever of course would be if I could just add the spell from a list and it would automatically have all the info! I also really like how things are organized by character sheet, inventory, journal, etc. It really makes editing and organizing soooo much easier and it’s a huge timesaver. In the journal section, it asks for a background. I would really love to see maybe some backgrounds added from a list, the equips the items and proficiencies and feats that come with that background. Though on the other hand, this makes it very friendly to homebrews. All in all, a superb app. I’ve recommended it to my group and friends and I am deeply impressed by the Dev’s dedication.
