Catch and Feed

There are ads so insanely frequently that it’s just about unplayable. And I didn’t even bother buying the no ads gamepass because according to other reviews, it does literally nothing and the ads keep coming. On top of that, there’s a ton of glitches that make it hard to play the game. The most frustrating one for me is when I’m trying to catch a fish and it tries to swim away, but glitches into the wall instead and disappears forever. I’ve had this happen with very rare fish that I was VERY close to catching. It’s infuriating. I typically don’t even write reviews, let alone bad ones. But this really frustrated me. Please fix your game.

The game has a clean, cool concept but the sheer amount of ads makes the game unbearable. Some parts force you to open a menu to later place an Ad banner on top of the exit button basically forcing you to click the ad or re-open the app. I don’t mind ads or having a banner but basically every 2 actions a new pop-up or a badly place banner interrupts gameplay progression, this is where I draw the line. Good game, horrible ad management. Hope they fix!

Purchased the no ad feature and then still have ads everywhere and after every catch it’s there and I can’t even get a refund for it and then the game forces me to watch ads for upgrades because it won’t let me progress no matter how many times I restart the game and now all of a sudden I have to use worms and have to watch ads or pay 49 cents for more I know those worms weren’t there when I first got it yesterday and have the screenshots to prove it

I enjoy the game for the first few seconds until an ad pops up. Yes many games have ads and it’s annoying. But the amount of ads this game has is on a whole other level. And paying almost $5 to remove them is ridiculous. (Also seeing many others reporting it doesn’t even work?? I consider that a scam) Many games that are more complicated and give less ads are at most $2. As someone who is a student and just enjoys simple games like these for downtime, I don’t have the money to be paying for this game. Should be using it elsewhere along with what games I play. If the ads were reduced significantly I’d definitely change my response. I understand a lot of app game makers use ads to make money, so I’m not saying get rid of them (even though I’m sure all of us players could agree that would be more ideal). But definitely reduce them. It makes the game significantly less fun, and more prompts me to play a different game than keep going.

I really like playing the game it’s just something fun to do when I have a few seconds. But I can’t close the shop menu because the banner ad is covering the X button, and just moving from feeding the animals I send one piece out and I wait 40ish seconds because the ad has to close to open it’s demo and you close the demo the get to black download screen and after you close that you can finally return to the game. Only for it to happen again after less than a minute later. I’m talking about I got back, with a pouch of food that can hold five, I already fed one before the ad, feed it three more and the process repeats. I want to enjoy the game but $6 for ad free is something no one in their right mind would pay for a mobile game.

You do 3 thing in the game Fish, cook fish, feed to animals for money. 2 out of 3 of those will start a ad. You fish you cook the first fish hit with ad. Finishing cooking all fish return to boat hit with an ad. Feed the fish animals then get hit with pop up ad. There are time where the banner ads will block the X to go back and have to click the ad to continue. Unity used to be a great company and when I would see their name I knew it was gonna be good because they care, I guess that’s in the past. Do not play this game or anything from Unity we can’t support these money hungry companies. Other than that it’s a pretty fun game if there was banner and only 1 ad when finishing all 3 activities, I would definitely play it. That’s not the case though. So I will not support games like this! Everyone uninstall asap.

I paid to remove adds completely from my game but there’s still a constant banner with adds on the screen… ok fine. The game is a copy of a different popular steam game. The game play is fine but I found one fish that I could not fully scale due to its placement on my screen (playing on an iPhone) which is pretty annoying. And anytime you close and reopen the game OR switch islands your on I loose some of my upgrades. Overall there’s a lot to be worked on.

I am usually more than happy to spend $5 here and there in an app to be able to get certain things so paying such to get no ads and a lil cash was perfectly fine. Yet when I clicked to buy I immediately had an ad forced through? And that somehow screwed up the payment and they took my money but it never processed in app that I bought it. So I kept getting ads. Okay. I go to restore purchase, I type in my password. Moment I press enter another ad is forced through interrupting the process. This game takes your money. The developers are thieves. Do NOT waste your time on this game. It’s ad after ad after ad and when you go to buy no ads that doesn’t matter they are gonna take your money and not give you what you bought.
