Cartoon Photo - Sketch Guru

I have been using SketchGuru for over 10 years now and it’s my number 1 app for creatively trying out different modes of color and textures in my photos. Both sketch options make is easy for me to print a sketch of my photo for tracing onto real media for painting and sketching. The watercolor modes add that extra pop to digital artwork too. I think the subscription price is fair, too.

Love the results of so many of my photos Because I make my own stationary. I use photos of my own paintings & also sketch guru photos I have taken & make cards I buy from Blick catalog. But it is not an easy App to navigate to get the photos from my gallery-have to scroll forever to find ones. Do not understand why it just does not go to photos or albums like on my iPhone. I am amazed by the transformed photos into art. I can not find my version in the App Store. Other friends want it! Thanks -have had so much fun with SketchGuru!

Does a nice job with making photos look like sketches or paintings. Not a huge number of filters, but might be fine for a given purpose. (There are other apps that do better with “painting” filters, but SketchGuru seems to have the best “pencil” filters, especially for MMO screenshots. I won’t say it’s the only app you need, but it’s a very worthy member of the photo-filter arsenal.)
