Carpet Bombing 2

I’ve already left a 5 star review. This game is great, so much fun. Just wanted to give the developer some insight to some bugs I’ve been having. I am not a purchaser, I’ve paid a total of like 3 or 4$ for a few planes but watch ads for free stars or double stars. I’ve started having issues in the endless arcade mode where I’ll click the ad button and the game will just freeze. All I can do is abort the mission because all of the other options are blocked out as the game tries to launch an ad which it never does. This happens after several missions on endless mode and I lose a lot of points. So far I’ve had to aboard 3 missions over 300,000 points, costing me a good chunk of play time without being able to level up. I would suggest the game gives you the points when you abort the mission. Maybe have it act as if you’ve died so it records the points. Another issue I had early on that I learned from is that if you go to far to the end of each level on either side and too high, your plane will disappear and you cannot get it back in the mission zone, again having to abort and lose progress. Hope this reaches the dev and some changes can be made. Besides that this is an awesome game.

Without being impossible to play, maybe that is because your opponents are not other people who can buy “skill” essentially, or maybe it’s just refreshing to play a game like this after throwing away money on a game that is impossible to win if your not the person with the most money. I suppose if I cared about getting the high score it would be different and I am sure they make money from those cats and I’ll probably never beat all the levels without spending money but that’s fine. It’s enjoyable enough on its own and challenging enough to provide hours of entertainment, controls take some getting use to on Touch screen but that is true for any game. I am going to look for other games by this crew. Hopefully they have one I can play a single reasonable sum for and play offline (I think you can play this offline).

I’ve been playing the first game for about 2 months now and I loved it, so when I found out there was a sequel I immediately downloaded it. I like the new setting and most of the gameplay but landing/taking off just seems like a chore to do. It doesn’t really add anything to gameplay and just takes up time, and is really frustrating when you are taking off but don’t lift off in time and crash. Fuel also seems unnecessary as well. I understand that it’s more realistic but this is a 2D game where if a plane is hit by a tank shell it’s still able to continue flying, realism isn’t really necessary, and I usually play this game to kill time, which the landing part makes really painful. Because of taking off, if I crashed ten times on a level in the first game I would continue playing but if I would crash five times in the second game I would just stop playing because I hate taking off. A feature I miss from the first game is also the ability to destroy the ground, I sometimes spend like 5 minutes destroying mountains to the ground and dropping 20 bombs on a destroyed tank just to see it go to the bottom of the screen. While you can still destroy land in this game you can only do certain parts and it’s just not like the last game. Dialogue for the campaign also seems very forced and the story isn’t that great but it’s still an interesting idea. Either way if you make a third sequel I’ll definitely download it and hope you get rid of landing and fuel in it while bringing back the ability to destroy every bit of land. Edit: I decided to change this review from a 3 star to a 5 star review because first of all, i meant to make it 4 stars instead of 3 stars. Second of all, I tried arcade mode and it contains most of what I loved about the first game, as well as the option for no take offs. Only thing I would change is to put in an option for unlimited fuel. I still prefer the first game, but not by that much anymore.
