Love this game! Iโve been playing it since the beginning, and still pick it up to get a game in. Itโs easy to forget how much I struggled early on, but now itโs a piece of cake. Just takes time! For those complaining about no aiming assistance, thatโs part of the fun, and you will get the hang of it. Nothing quite as satisfying as dropping 3 bombs and a rocket in one volley and watching all your weapons hit. Also nothing quite as frustrating as getting caught up in the moment and losing a plane without knowing why, or having an enemy plane smash into you in darkness. The developer has crafted quite a nice little game, and with occasional updates, he keeps it fresh. I remember when enemy planes didnโt avoid you. And before bullet time, it was quite amusing the amount of collisions there were. I do wish bullet time was a toggle feature. I also remember enemy planes being super delicate before Iโm certain the developer buffed them up. The โsecret planeโ is a blast, but still has its limitations and weaknesses, as it should. I love that each plane is balanced. The jet use to be incredibly difficult to get the hang of, now itโs probably my best plane to fly with. Still aiming for 100 kills in 1 mission, but so far just 82 is my max. The cannon plane is possibly the best if itโs mastered, but with no splash radius on its weapon, itโs quite the challenge to get precision hits. One plane I think needs buffing is the modified bomber with the ventral turret. I believe the developer buffed some of the enemies to deal with the secret plane, but the modified bomber is practically useless. The ventral turret rarely gets kills. Maybe a way to manually control the turret, or select targets for it to attack, would make it relevant again. Great job, dev! I always check to see if you have something new.
I LOVE the difficulty in this game. The mix between dodging projectiles and landing shots yourself feels fluid once you get the hang of it. That said, this game currently does not support more casual play. I am personally fine with the difficulty, fine with the overall gameplay, aside from the enemy fighters deciding theyโre a really expensive missile and colliding with my planes. That is what Iโve lost 90% of my planes too. Anyhow, for the sake of the more casual, an easier mode should be added with the target indicator like in the tutorial. New modes and general content should be added. I would especially love a mode focused on plane-to-plane combat, or practice modes with no consequences for failure. If you want help with ideas I have a limitless supply.
First off, I wanna say I absolutely love this game. Good challenge, nice graphics, and overall itโs a good game. I do have a suggestion and that is multiplayer. The way that I think this could be implemented it that one player controls the anti air and another controls the planes. The plane player will use the plane as you normally do but the anti air player will use the aa differently than in air defense command. Basically they tap and hold somewhere on the screen and all aa on the screen shoots there. They could also choose when to send an interceptor to auto fight the plane player. I know this would take forever to implement but I think that you should at least put multiplayer in mind for the future. Thanks for reading!
