CamRanger Mini

I can work with the occasional hardware issues. Communication issues happen. The thing that bothers me most is that when you are taking photos off of the device and onto the phone or tablet they are randomly ordered and do not auto rotate. I'm sure this could be fixed with some time. If those issues were resolved, I think it would be a five star app.

I’ve been using the CamRanger mini with my Canon 5D IV for real estate photography for the past few months and everything has worked exactly as expected. I used to shoot with a camera that had a flip out screen and knew I needed something like the CamRanger when I switched to the 5D since I wouldn’t be able to see the screen when the camera was placed in a corner (as it so often is). The ability to work from an iPad with a big bright screen and have control over many camera functions is amazing. Definitely worth every penny!

I recently bought the camranger mini and noticed something wasn’t working as I thought it was supposed to. I emailed support on a Saturday not expecting a response until Monday morning. I received a response a few hours later and we emailed back and forth a few times trying to figure out the issue until somewhat later in the night. Wasn’t expecting that! I don’t expect support teams to be up that late on these things but one of their support staff was. He emailed me back the next morning saying an update would be posted the next morning fixing the issue. Great support for sure The product itself so far has been wonderful for all of the commonly advertised reasons.
