This app has shown significant improvement. The ability to add previously ordered items to a new order has been very helpful. I'm glad I can now add a tip to a mobile order. The development team should be commended. There are still more stels than necessary to go from basket, to order, to payment, to confirm confirming order. This should be condensed to 1-2 pages/steps. It would also be helpful to set a favorite store. I often place an order as I’m commuting in. The store I’m picking up from is not close to where I live so I have to scroll way down to find the location near my workplace. A minor but recurring inconvenience.
Ordered on the app 2 brewed coffees. I got to the store 5min past the time the app said my order would be ready. Went to the take out spot and was told they don’t have brewed coffee since the brewer is broken. They offered to make cafe americanos as a substitute but now I have to wait until they finish other orders which is ok since they didn’t know if I would want them as a substitute. I get them and leave the store then realize I they are not made right. I go back to get it fixed. Getting coffee should not be this complicated. I wouldn’t mind but it always seems like this store has a process issue. Maybe they are still working out the kinks.
Ideally, you’d seamlessly accept Apple Pay through the app. But short of that, please allow me to use Paste from the clipboard when entering my credit card number. I prefer to use my Apple Card where I can and you can’t scan an Apple Card with the camera (no numbers printed on the card). I can quickly copy the card number to the clipboard, but the paste command isn’t available on the alpha-numeric keyboard you display. And yes, I’m too lazy to write down the number and transcribe it myself (but I am willing to spend far more time complaining about it!) Btw, when entering the expiration date and the CVV the app displays a numeric keypad, but the credit card number field displays the full keyboard. Wouldn’t the numeric keypad (with the paste button, of course) be more appropriate? [Sorry, I used to work in QA.]
