Boost Blue for Bluesky

I’ve been looking for an alternative to the Bluesky app. This one does it all. Themes, fonts, drafts, ability to search, mute, and control your feed. Best of all it remembers your place in your timeline!!! The developer is also very responsive to feature requests. Great app.

This app is fantastic! It has great quality of life upgrades over the default Bluesky app that improve my experience so much, like the saved timeline position for the following feed and list feeds. The app is still a little rough around the edges, but the developer is super responsive to any issues and is making improvements multiple times a week. I cannot recommend this app enough over the default Bluesky app.

There’s a lot I like about this app. First off, the instant in-place update of your timeline, which is always an issue with other apps. I also like the post counter, which is more accurate than a scrollbar. The ability to swipe to your different feeds is also cool, and I appreciate the larger images. The downside is the lack of the standard “share” button, which severely limits what you can do with posts - for example, sharing images to Evernote or Apple Notes; sending posts via Apple Messages, etc. This is a standard and familiar part of iOS and iPadOS, and it’s a mystery why it’s missing here. It could end up being a deal-breaker, so I hope the devs reconsider their choice to leave it out.
