BeautyShelf: Beauty & Skincare

The idea of this app is great and most of the features work well. However, the lack of range in the products available to add to your shelves means that half my skincare and makeup routines are missing, so I won’t be able to check for deals on most of the products I use- the whole point of the app. The interface is also a bit difficult to use at times, such as it takes a few tries to move products around to the correct order when reconfiguring the “steps” in a routine. And the inability to name your ‘shelves’ without the word “routine” in the title is a bit off putting. In all, it’s a good idea and I look forward to seeing future improvements, but the lack of freedom for the user (ie the “routine” issue, inability to create pages for missing products, etc.), confusing interface, and minimal product range is a downside.

Thank goodness this app exists! It’s really changed the game for my beauty shopping. I love how I can now find products more compatible with my skin, hair, and complexion after shopping similar girls routines & seeing their reviews & how they use them. It’s meant I don’t waste any money now and everything I buy feels like the product I’ve been searching for for years but could never previously find!! The price comparison tool is so incredible, being able to find items at the lowest price on the market has lowered the risk of trying new things as well which feels great!! Overall such a great app, and can’t wait to keep using it more!

This app is a real game changer for everything beauty and routine. Being someone who only has a minimal amount of knowledge when it comes to beauty but wants to explore it more, I’ve found the app to cater to everything and everyone no matter whether you’re massively into beauty or not. Ive found that I’m discovering many more products and looking at different people’s routines and reviews to see what I think I would benefit most from when it comes to skin care, as well as using their amazing price comparison tool where I can see what shop sells the item the cheapest. I also find myself going straight to beauty shelf when looking to buy beauty products or skincare products for members of my family and friends, after being able to see what items are good for what and how they benefit you it makes shopping beauty so much easier and fun!!
