Backpack Rush

It was fun until lvl 18. You can mostly choose if you want to see ads. There are some ad-paywalled content (having to watch an ad for certain things to level more), you get one free refresh every level, one ad watch one for possible lvl 2 gear and slots, and 3 slot ads for gaining more slots. If you get lucky anything over 3 slots required an ad warch. But at lvl 18 I just got stuck, dead stop. Too many enemies and they all breaks into two. I’ve gotten to lvl 3 on that level but then get decimated. I’m assuming if I just kept playing my level would eventually outweigh the monsters but it’s been a week of start—stop getting crushed and I had zero issues with any other level. Didn’t even come close to death til now. Balance it a bit more I’d even think about throwing some cash at it eventually since I actually like the gameplay loop itself.

Now this game is decent after first play through but you took this mechanics straight out of a game I play on pc annually. There is one thing this game is missing that is absolutely crucial. The items you have work better next to certain items. You have to implement that. Like for instance the gloves will make the shurikens fire faster. I know there are perks and what not. But you gotta implement this if you’re gonna take that mechanic. The thing. I like the most about this game though i: the fact it is a roguelike. And the play is nice. I got it because of my girl. Please look further into adding that I beg of you. You have a long term player as of now.

This game is honestly one of the most fun games I have ever played. I see a lot of people complaining about the ads but I think they are honestly very reasonable compared to most free mobile games. You are not forced to watch more than 3 per each level, which the levels last about 15 minutes and the ads are usually never longer than 30 seconds. I love this game because it has so many different parts to it and it’s not so difficult that you can’t play it but it’s also not too easy. The problem I do have with the ads is the content. Even when I have tailored ads apparently turned off I get the same three ads every time advertising apps to read werewolf books which are very much adult books, which I have no interest in reading. The worst part is anytime I report the ad for adult content, the game proceeds to ONLY give me that specific ad. It is definitely not based off of personal data because I accidentally deleted the app and ALL of my data/progress from my iCloud, then reinstalled it and still got the same ads. Please fix this because I don’t want to play it anymore when I keep getting ads for werewolf books, its embarrassing to have them pop up in public.
