In the last year, I've purchased multiple solar panel panorama cameras, solar and non-solar (battery operated exclusively) security cameras, and a doorbell for my mother-in-law and myself. All of the devices are fantastic. The solar panels ensure that those devices are always fully charged and require no maintenance. After several months, the battery-powered cameras remain at 100% (despite frequent motion activation). The video quality on all of the devices is great, especially at night. You can't beat the 4K 5MP quality. The software easily displays all seven gadgets between the two residences. The features are all quite useful. I access them all the time, from reviewing motion activity, checking on battery levels, illumination at night, turning them off when not needed (i.e., anticipating family members or myself activating the motion constantly), and using the two-way audio, especially the doorbell, which called my cell phone and saved me several trips to retrieve packages that would have been returned to the warehouse because I was able to instantly speak to the deliverer to give instructions.

I also recently brought an interior camera for my sister who operates a learning center. She loves it. You can’t go wrong with any of the AOSU products.

The initial impression of both the app and security camera system it operates was really good. But after using it for a few weeks now, I am not so impressed by the motion detection it offers. The camera either is too sensitive, picking up even a slightest movement of the tree branches or the recording only turns on when you just stand in front of the camera starring into the lens from only few feet away. And the recordings are frequently delayed, long after a subject triggering the event is out of the field of vision. At night the performance is even worse… I tried to tweak setting this way and that, but it did not improve much and inconsistency of performance continues. So - taking all that in - I am now downgrading it from initial 5 stars to 4. It is still a decent system.
