I like this game. The graphics are cute and story is fun. This is similar to others like it, except it becomes basically impossible to progress without spending money. There comes a point where the levels get so hard that you’ll play them 10, 20, 30 times and then get one star when you finally complete it. You rarely get more than 20 moves for every level, regardless of difficulty. I do like that it takes less time to accumulate another life to play than other games, but that makes sense because you’ll easily use them all on one level multiple times over. I understand needing to balance the challenge, but there comes a point where when every single level is so hard that you can’t progress it all, it becomes less fun. I’m not paying $5 every time I need gems to get 5 more moves. I would watch ads for them, but they don’t even give that option. They just want you to pay. I’m pretty close to deleting the game at this point.
Honestly, this game isn’t horrible. I like the game design and the story is pretty immersive. It’s a typical romantic drama but it does have explicit themes, which is surprising considering the fact that it looks like a game for children. The issue I have with this game is that it’s so obviously trying to make as much money as possible out of the players. Some levels you can’t even progress past without paying or watching multiple ads. One example of this is on level 304. Like many matching games, this game has an automatic refresh whenever there are no possible matches during a round. While on level 304, the game had to automatically refresh my board 20 times because there is nothing I could match, meaning that I can’t move on to the next level. 20 refreshes when I only have 23 moves is insane. And the only way to get more moves is to watch ads, but even the amount of ads you can watch are limited, so you have to play the round multiple times = more ads. Plus, the episodes get progressively shorter and you get 1 episode for about 50 rounds of matching. I hate how shamelessly greedy this game is. Instead of improving gameplay they just find different ways to force players to watch more ads. In the 2 weeks that I’ve played this game they’ve implemented 3 changes that only make it harder to move on to the next round and force players to watch more ads. If you like watching hours of ads then I definitely recommend this game. If not, then I highly suggest trying another game instead.
Love the game, it’s very straightforward and has some really cute clothing design. The story is also really interesting so far. At least to me. My problem is the co-op game. Obviously you take the gamble of spending your diamonds to play with a stranger but it seems like every stranger I play with isn’t able to meet the goal of what they need to be able win. So, i’d probably add the feature that if you get a certain amount of this or that, that you can get your diamonds back if the other person isn’t doing what they need to do. Or maybe half? I don’t know lol just doesn’t seem fair but at the same time it’s something i actively choose to do hoping i get paired with someone who’ll pull their weight so i can’t really blame y’all for that. otherwise i think it’s a really good game :)
