Amazon Astro

The voice feature is broken - despite having Astro explore the house and map it, when trying to tell Astro to go to a specific room through voice command in the app, I get “Sorry, that feature is not available until Astro explored”… does not work even after factory rebooting Astro.

So many of the instructions are wrong. For example, if you want to add another person’s profile, the instructions tell you to go to setup and make the selection/.. Doesn’t work. If you have Home Monitoring on, the only way that I have found to turn it off was to log out and start over. This device has lots of potential but you are constantly running into brick walls when you try something. Very frustrating. We need software updates bad!

The app needs to be able to assign Astro task like check doors or return to charger. Also Astro gives up too easy when attempting to find its way around my home. The sensors need to be a little less sensitive. Price is also way too high for the very little functionality Astro has currently. I see a lot of potential with Astro and I would buy it again if it had more features. Like a better app. Now the positive. Love to live video and recording when I’m home and away modes. I went on a cruise and knew my home was safe. Love the app shows the status history of Astro along with the recording it has.
