This is the biggest problem I have. The scout will leave its base without any input. I find him sitting next to the base with the app telling me it’s about to die. This happens at least once a week. My other issue Is that you need to implement faceID for the app. Having to log in all the time by typing the full email and password each time is getting old. Please tell us there are updates coming.

I got my bot via kickstarter, the process was simple, just donate and wait. I can’t remember if it shipped in time or not, to me it doesn’t matter. The developer had a idea, we gave him money to make the idea come true and they did it!!! When I first started playing with the unit I was very happy that it did pretty much everything they promised. Since that time I noticed that almost every month there is a firmware update and that’s fantastic. That just shows they are continuing to work on the bot and make it better and better. I heard rumors of some add on devices but haven’t seen much about it lately. These guys are probably busy locating parts and working on software for any upgrades. This bot is solid, it by no means is a light plastic piece of junk. With us having the ability to program it to run certain paths or do a few things it’s been a fun way for me to act like I know how to program a robot to do things. DEVELOPE - great project, great idea, the build quality is one of the best kickstarters projects I’ve backed, and I’ve backed over 200. I’m having a ton of fun all I can ask is just don’t stop with the updates. If we need to subscribe to a program that will help fund your work a small fee may give us more features, kinda a investment on a already good product, just needs more work and time so we can all really benefit from the possibilities. Finally got the bot. No complaints there, I know crowd funding things are slow. However, can’t say that it was worth the wait. The App is ok and easy enough to setup. However, the bot itself is just… well doesn’t work well. Doesn’t drive very well on carpet or hard floors, so not sure what the intended operational environment is. The propulsion idea is neat, it just doesn’t really function well. The return to home feature doesn’t work, just gets caught in an infinite loop and never docks, likely because it relies on precision movements which it can’t make… the camera positioning is fixed, so it’s a bit awkward - would be nice to be able to virtually move the POV up or down. I’ll keep playing with it and update my review if things improve, but right now I’d stay away.
