The app itself is intuitive and easy to use, but that’s more of an expectation for a subscription based health app such as this one. What sets this app apart is the food recognition technology. I am blown away by the technology. I’ve been on-and-off calorie counting for years, with some limited success, but I’ve always gotten frustrated and tired of trying to keep track of everything I put into my mouth, and fallen off track. This technology is game changing and takes away any excuses - just snap a photo and you’re done. The detail is incredible and I’m excited to test the technology every time I try something new. I have no plans to stop tracking my food intake through Supaband anytime soon.
Huge fan, use it daily. 3 early takeaways for me: 1. frictionless — the fact that I can snap a photo in a second and be done with my meal submission is huge, and since I start seeing it calculate right away it feels like I have this thing that goes to work for me. 2. accuracy — remarkable accuracy on whatever you’re using for image recognition. Down to the detail of “butter on bread”. Seeing it recognize my pictures is a subtle thing that makes me want to submit again. 3. tracking impact — even without a personal goal, the fact I have a frictionless tracking habit forming, I get the natural benefits that come from keeping score of anything. Find myself avoiding the between-meals snack etc. Cool stuff! Excited to see this app continue to evolve, as it’s already best in market.
Calorie trackers DO NOT WORK, but Supaband does. I’ve been using Supaband for the last couple months and it’s been a game changer. They have a trick for making sure you hit your goals without EVER feeling hungry. It’s so effortless to track and the coach always keeps you feeling supported and motivated. There is one more weight loss hack they have in the app but you’ll need to sign up and try it out to find out what it is… but it really works.
