Almanac: Events Countdown

I love having a quick view at important upcoming events that don’t get lost in the shuffle of my wider, messier web of calendars. There’s one bug that I’ve encountered related to categories. You can manage categories under settings, but some of the ones I’ve created are missing. Also, there are categories that I don’t use. What I think is happening: If you add a new category while adding an event, it doesn’t get added to the list of categories in settings, which is odd. Also, I would like Almanac to utilize iCloud syncing in order to to access this app on other devices and have my events stored so if I upgrade my device, they aren’t lost.

As a family of four, we have trouble keeping up with all the upcoming birthdays, dinners, and weekend plans. They’re often buried in our calendars and every time we go to plan something new, we’re scrolling week by week to see when we’re free. This simple app fixes that problem. You can see all your upcoming events in one simple timeline. It gives you the high level view I wish all calendar apps had, and isn’t cluttered with other little reminders and meetings. Two feature requests - 1) I’d like to share events with others 2) I’d like to be able to hook up my gcal so when I schedule an event, it puts it there too

I used to use Calendar App but when I knew Calendar I changed to this one and I am fascinated with this tool. It organizes the events and let you know in advance when thy are going to be. Very cool!
