I have used several apps to track food. This one has been the worst to date. I ended up spending over $100 for the premium year subscription. The AI is far behind what it should be. It does not correctly identify food, the portions, and the serving sizes. The app is not user friendly. The food items are not customizable for weight, macros, servings or hardly anything. It also failed to recognize several common food barcodes. The database is so new that you are better off going with another app that has an established user base and that the food items are more customizable. I was unable to change my calories even though I wasn’t happy with the macros it gave me automatically. I couldn’t change the net carbs, it counts all carbs and does not subtract the fibers in food for keto users. There were allot of other little annoyances so I recommend that you use a more developed app and give this one a few years to grow.
So, I normally use my Fitness Pal, and it is fine but I couldn’t resist the reasonable pricing for a year’s worth of use from this app. I like that you can take a photo and it recognizes, in some cases, the food and gives it a nutritionally count. Now, with true transparency, I have only been using the app for a couple of days, but I also know that I lose more weight when I am consistent and honest with my food input as well as track it. Right now I am eating based in the diet I have chosen but I look forward to trying out the meal plans that Weill keep in honest.
This app is easy and pretty efficient for you. Not like other apps I have used that. Do not get the calories or protein correct this one is spot on. If your looking for an easy and correct app to use to track you television protein this is the one I’m on a GLP-1 and it is crucial for me to track what I am eating. not only nervous this one track what I’m eating my calories protein, etc. but also helps me keep track of my intermittent fasting and my water intake, which is great to have it all in one app. So if this sounds like something you would want to try I would definitely give AI cal a try.
