Driving my elderly Dad three hours each way on a road trip. He loves NPR (raised me on it) but these days, he only wants music, not news. As we drive, we lose the signal or get static as we dip down into valleys. But this app delivers the content we want at the time we want, as long as we have a cell signal. I am going to install it on his phone because it is easy enough even for him to use.
Been using this app for years to live stream WYPR for years. There was a period of time when there were multiple sponsor interruptions an hour. Thankfully, That has been corrected. Still some glitches and streaming interruptions. Overall love the radio station and will continue to listen and contribute to the service that they offer.
2 thumbs up. Very humanistic and interesting programming. I love the discussions about neighborhoods that I’d heard about, driven through and presumed to know and understand, yet the focus and the depth of the interviews along with the candor of the neighbors reminds me that most of us are doing the best we can within our circumstances. This is a great remedy for my social myopia. I would consider this to be required listening to understand who/what the whole of Baltimore is. Thank you.
