World Tennis Tour Live

Updated either 2024 or 2023 and not for the better. I used to refer to the previous app for live tournament info and link thru to calendar on ITF website. So was content with using it for ITF level tennis. However, I no longer use their app for anything. I don’t like the format, usability, and functionality. I just tried getting today’s final match schedule for a Women’s ITF 100k yet the app’s order of play says there is no scheduled matches for today. So I went to the ITF website which displayed the times for both the doubles and single’s final match times today. I gave the app time to perhaps work out the kinks and glitches but it’s over a year and this updated app non functioning issues continues. I’m deleting this app but will check back next year for improvements. Until then, I will reference ITF website.

This app last year worked great. Scores came in live and on time as well as live stream. This year I click on match and it’s not the same score as what is listed in tournament page which means it’s not updating at all. When live stream is an option and i click it, the live stream then isn’t available. App is awful? How can this be when last year it was fine. ITF has been around for a long time and can’t seem to get this right. By now this is embarrassing for them.

This app has so many issues it’s hard to remember then all to write down. The ITF should be embarrassed that they have allowed it to be this bad. A simple app developer can come in and revamp this thing in a week and fix everything but instead they’ve allowed this app to carry on for years not functioning properly. Most days I use the app it gets to a point where it force closes itself once you open it. Once this starts happening there is no way to use it for the rest of the day. Beyond that major issue, scores often flash back a whole set. So you will be watching a match deep in the third set and then all of a sudden in starts showing 2-1 in the first set. Then a match will finish, it will say completed and it was say 6-3, 3-6, 3-0 completed. But it won’t be a retire because I was watching it as it was 5-2 in the third but it will finish and show an old score as the final. On top of those major issues it is just downright slow. It lags like crazy. Most of the time I’m moving a king matches and it freezes and I know now that I just have to wait until I can move again (usually takes 3-5 seconds) to keep looking for my match. I must be the only person still using this app because the ITF takes no initiative to fix any of this for the last 5 years so my guess is they only have 1 user on the app. Either way, it’s an embarrassment to tennis and the ITF.
