World of Tanks Blitz™

Enjoyed this game from the very outset. Graphics phenomenal. Over time however, it has lost its luster. There’s an equity problem; the algorithms don’t set up opposing teams based at all on strength of record and performance. They gather the individual member data; damage, victories, etc. but it’s not applied equitably. Weaker teams get demolished, stronger players within a team dis the weaker teammates. Too many times it’s the varsity playing the JV’s. Beyond that, scores aren’t consistently applied. Good number of confirmed hits but final score doesn’t reflect reality. In response to my review, the developer acknowledges the inequity as I’ve outlined suggesting resolution is not even being considered. This is also an expensive hobby. Some tanks offered for sale cost upwards of $45US. The game is so good I’d gladly pay $100 for an equitable version. Finally, a long time ago low level tanks with cannon autoloaders were stripped down from original country design so “beginners” won’t be disadvantaged. Many veterans who spent considerable $ essentially “paid the price”. Since publishing my initial comments, the developer claims some progress in addressing the obvious inequities but, in my view, its inadequate. I initially pointed out game participation has declined nearly 20%. It has faltered subsequently to nearly 35%. It would be a shame if it falters further. A time for concrete developer action is again, overdue.

A must have indeed! This is the best mobile game I can think of, and competes heavily with other and bigger games easily. Deep mechanics, insane levels of diversity, historical but with the occasional cool twist, vehicles based on blueprints, and every kind of tank from the 1910s to the early 60s. The game is an excellent alternative to World of Tanks PC, which sadly seems to be going down, and even a competitor to the famous WarThunder. Battles are fast paced and active, the gameplay is both unique and satisfying, as well as incredibly variable and addicting. The tech trees are the perfect balance between grindy and fast, with moderately paced but consistent progress. As for issues, many reviews say the game is Pay2Win, but with the extremely rare exceptions, and even with the game having hundreds of “premium” tanks, any free2play player can still find plenty to enjoy. It can be played on a variety of devices, from IPhone 5s (not recommended but possible), to gaming rigs the size of you mini-fridge via steam. The only warning I will emphasize is the outrageous lack of tutorials, but I highly recommend you check out some of the YouTubers on the game, I.e., Droodles, Meadsy69, Pantouflee, WoTB Joe, and Bushka on Blitz. They will give you all the guidance you can wish for. But truly, amazing graphics, excellent progression, out-of-this-world diversity in both tanks and gameplay, if you don’t have this, and you like tanks, WHAT ON EARTH HAVE BEEN DOING WITH YOUR LIFE YOU DOLT?!

I love this game been playing it off and on. I don’t really know why but I have been taking a break. I would love to have more game modes in this game. The more game modes would make it more fun. My friend just got me back into the game and I think I will have to start over but it will be ok because that will make it more fun for me because I was pretty good before. Thank you for making a fun game and I recommend this game to every single person on the planet. I is one of my favorite games there is but there is also another thing that I would like and tell me if there is but I would like it so that you can friend people. That would make it so much more fun because then you would be able to play with your friends. My cousin and I were able to play together a couple of times though we just used the same ranked tanks and we hit the start match button at the same time but a good amount of the time that didn’t work. These suggestions will make the game more fun the next update but if you are not able to this I will still play don’t worry. This is a wonderful game and you guys are working very hard but if there is a way that you can friend people please tell me because that would make it that much more fun sorry this was more looked a letter than a review but this is my first review. For starters, this game is amazing. I’ve had it for a5 least 6 years, and though I can say there have been ups and downs through certain updates, we’ve gone on an overall continually good track. Back to the point though, I have two requests that I would be very grateful for if they were implemented; now, I know it doesn’t have too much of an affect, but can we please use the machine guns on the tanks? If you in a larger tank, and there’s like a UE-57 in front of you, the machine guns would be great for that occasion, plus, it’d just be super cool to use. This next request, I don’t care for as much, but believe it’d be quite the change. For destroying enemy vehicles, instead of the huge explosion and sudden charred tank, I wouldn’t mind some War Thunder destruction physics, where smoke starts to spew out of the turret and stuff, or the occasional huge explosion for an ammo rack, where a thin but long stream of fire blasts out to the top of the turret. But I think we should make it easier for the crew to get hurt and stuff, and for things into the tank to break. Winches would be nice, and so would the War Thunder repair system, to repair those damages, and you can get help repairing from a teammate. Please mainly focus on the machine gun request, for the second request would indeed be quite a change, but I really hope you can add at least the usage of the machine guns. (And maybe artillery tanks) Thank you, and please take this into consideration.

This Game is great and so fun and it’s really easy to play with friends. A big downside I have to mention is that the app takes up 3GB (No problem for a 32GB Ipad but still 3GB!) When I was new to the game my favorite part was that every tank was based of real tanks but now they are making up their own, which to me is still fine. The gameplay is very detailed and realistic but this game suffers a good amount of glitches. Not many, but when there are glitches they make it impossible for you to battle. The game is very balanced and I don’t think it is bad pay to win. I would only make some recommendations, There is a tank called the KV2 that is way OP and it doesn’t even cost. In battle it can just one shot me and even noobs dominate the battlefield with this. There are other tanks like the KV2 but it is defiantly the worst [Mostly at Higher Tiers, These include the Su-152, Isu-152 , Waffenträger, T49 and Hetzer] My only other problem is that you can’t turn off chat [This is the Hangar Chat] which can be frustrating because all these people send me messages and I just don’t want to chat. The Gameplay of this game is amazing and I would defiantly recommend getting it on a device with more storage that wouldn’t lag out very easily. I just wish it was easier to talk to WarGaming Themslves. It’s not very pay to win, but the in-app purchases just seem unreasonable. I have payed only $3 and I still really enjoy the game. This game does require some patience, on the battlefield, and in getting Tanks.

I love this game. I have been playing it for almost two years now, and I have seen a lot of change. Features come and go (spare parts), and new things are always being added. The one thing that I’d love to see change in the game is the price for premium tanks. I understand that you don’t wan too many people running around in great, easy to play, high DPM tanks because it could ruin the experience for other players. This still happens in some cases, so just lower he prices of premium tanks a little bit. You could even limit the number that you sell, and then not risk the game becoming unbalanced. Also, take into consideration how many people you give the special offers to. The one offer with the CDC really influenced tier VIII. Now there are lightning fast, tier VIII Draculas being annoying. Other than that, I love the way the game is designed. New features are always coming in, and can be very cool and make the game better. I also love the reward of climbing the tech trees to tier X and not having to deal with other premium tanks making your life difficult in researchable tanks. I can’t say enough how well made this game is. For me, it’s more of a hobby than a game. I do suggest that if you are interested in trying your hand at becoming a tank commander, don’t think twice. This is the game for you. :)
